Welcome!

I'm a first year astronomy graduate student at Columbia working with Prof. David Kipping in the Cool Worlds Lab.

My research focuses on the hunt for moons of planets beyond our solar system, or exomoons. To look for these, we comb through archival data and hope to collect new measurements with powerful telescopes like Hubble and JWST. Exomoons likely exist right at the edge of our detection abilities, so much of my work consists of careful target selection and observation planning.

Beyond exomoons, I'm also interested in attributes of exoplanet systems which can be inferred from subtle deviations from standard transit models, like oblateness or rings. Prior to joining Columbia, I completed my undergrad at Caltech in Planetary Science. I'm also a writer for Astrobites and have an interest in Science Policy. Feel free to reach out about any of these topics!
