Welcome!

I'm a PhD Candidate in the Astronomy department at Columbia working with Prof. David Kipping in the Cool Worlds Lab and Prof. Malena Rice at Yale University

My research focuses on exoplanets and how we can extract as much information as possible about them given a set of observations. Specifically, I'm interested in the processes/extra nearby objects that leave subtle imprints on our time series observations, such as exomoons, planetary rings, and planetary oblateness/triaxiality. I both model these affects (check out squishyplanet) and look for them in real data (see our JWST program looking for moons/oblateness of a Jupiter-twin).

I'm also interested in the outer solar system and synergies between exoplanet/planetary science datasets. I did a predoc with Prof. Malena Rice at Yale University working on detecting trans-Neptunian objects in archival TESS data.

Outside of research, I also used to write for Astrobites and the American Astronomical Society. Feel free to reach out about any of these topics!
